Foreigners will be able to receive a temporary residence without a quota for supporting traditional values

On August 19, a decree was adopted according to which foreign citizens who disagree with the moral policy of their countries will be able to obtain a temporary residence permit (TRP) in a simplified manner.

Citizens of countries that pursue policies that contradict traditional Russian spiritual and moral values have such a right. The list of such countries will be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

When submitting an application, foreign citizens should indicate their disagreement with the policies of their countries and support for traditional values in the basis.

In this case, obtaining a TRP will be:

• without a quota
• without passing an exam on knowledge of the Russian language, history, culture and legislation.

These provisions of the decree come into force on September 1.
