By order of Vladimir Putin, the government canceled insurance premiums for companies in September. Only those whose OKVED is included in a special list may not pay contributions.

Companies were allowed not to pay insurance premiums for the II and III quarters of 2022.  The list of industries entitled to a deferral was determined by the government. It did not include exporters, financial companies, wholesalers and civil servants.

The decision to extend the deadline was taken in order to help businesses free up funds that can be used for current expenses related to paying salaries to employees, readjusting production and logistics.

There is one criterion for the possibility of deferring insurance premiums in 2022 – it is the main OKVED code, the information about which is contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities / USRLE as of April 1, 2022. It is important that it is included in the lists from Government Decree No. 776 of 29.04.2022.
